Personally I always admired the western style dragons in most everything Cartoons, games, and especially tattoos. What do you guys think?

I'm not much of a fan of eastern dragons, which are basically flying snakes. Western depictions of dragons have them more beastly in appearance and I rather prefer it this way. Eastern dragons would actually look very odd in a final fantasy game, which tends to draw more from western mythology.
then we could get into that Roe should be melee chars, and Lals should be mages only and Miq dex classes. While western dragons do look more aggressive and dangerous... I must say that I would love to see some Eastern dragons in FF, just because they look elegant and pretty...
I guess that there could be both types... I still don't know why game developers always follow one or another, would it be so bad in having both?
How I see it... while a western dragon could easily be a "warrior" type, eastern is a "mage" type :P
that's kinda hybrid of east/west.
i don't really like eastern dragons.. >< they more like serpents than dragons haha
Not a Dragon, but FF needs more of this
I'm just upset that evolution favored smaller more agile fauna over mega fauna. Pretty sure that a Velociraptor with wings would survive better than a common chicken. We'd also have irlzies chocobos.
This is a topic I can sink my teethe into!
I love dragons of all types but if I had to pick a favorite...
Western all the way!
