Everyone here on the Community Team is finalizing preparations to head out to San Francisco to lend a hand in the media tour, and Yoshi-P (and Foxclon!) just arrived at our office. Before leaving Japan, he posted a short message I'd like to share with you all.

I'm just about to board the plane.

All the new information from the media tour will be released globally at the same time, so while there will be a somewhat quiet period, there will be a lot of info coming out at once, so hang in there just a bit longer.

I think that I'll be able to post the next letter during my stay in North America as well.

Conversely, it doesn't matter if they over-promise and under deliver since the SE apologists and boot lickers can never really be displeased anyway.

I don't know if I would go as far as to say "go take a vacation, Yoshi-P", though I would very much love to. It's clear the man is really putting his heart and soul into this reboot. I just worry about the months following the launch of ARR, perhaps more than the beginning itself. I know they'll have things planned well in advance, but I can't help but feel they should have him around.

In any case, I hope he does get some kind of break, no matter how brief. Stay happy, stay healthy. While he's really giving this project everything he has, and we all respect him for it, no game is worth sacrificing your own well being over.
