Re-roll or Use Old Character?

Will you all be making new characters or using your 1.0 ones?

I'm having a tough time deciding what I'll want to do. I have a number of classes in the 30's, a decently high Clothcraft skill, so nothing is finished just yet, but I've invested a good amount of time in him. Since the game is going to be rebooting afresh, though, I feel like I would want to as well.

I see no reason not to do both.
After all we get 8 characters to a world.

I'll be doing both! Kap is getting a redesign and I'm going to be starting another character. So excited!

I'm Re-rolling, to do all quests/missions progressively instead of just bum rushing it with your high level characters. So I can feel more Accomplished.

I put too much work in my character to even consider starting over. All 50 fighting classes, 50 mining, alot of darklite and such. Same goes for most the members in my linkshell.

I also view it like this, SE will be adding new jobs constantly as time goes by. All the new stuff I will easily be able to experience with those jobs, without having to give up my work I done with my character. Arcanist will be at launch so I will experience the low level game with that class.

I am sorta highly against alts in FF mmos I do not see the point of them.

For someone like the OP who is not too invested in their character already, I can see it being more of a hard choice though.

Seeing how I like most of the races in the game, I will mostly likely make a few new characters just so I can play different races

I'll make mules if need be, got plenty of jobs to work once ARR drops tho. No need to fully start over.

I will probably be starting over only because I dont have that much invested in my character unfortunatly. it all depends though, if I can transfer to a better server I might keep her. /torn
