I don't really mind pvp. I don't like "a lot" of pvp, but there is definately a rush to winning a pvp battle. If ARR could implement some sort of arena or battleground, I would definately give it a try.

We don't need another PVP vs PVE thread... I'm sure this was debated before.

Given that the "Dev team size is currently 9 times the size of the original team" you don't need to worry about PVE content being sacrificed for PVP content.

Considering this is a Final Fantasy game, PvE is and likely will be the focus.

Final Fantasy XIV is a story base game so seeing how each city want to control the crystal camps i see where PVP fits. Seeing how we in war with beastmen and empire i see where PVE make sense. Seeing how the main plot is empire/beastmen they be more PVE focus. But i don't mind them having pvp seeing how yoshi-p said that PVP would be out of the way and they wont be open pvp i don't really mind it at all.

It something there that i can do when i'm really bored and out of the way that it does not bug me when doing quest,mission and so on.

So overall i happy where yoshi-p is going with when it come to pvp.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to both PvE and PvP even though I haven't done much of the latter
