    Too much flashy flashiness going on

    Hey hey - Watching all the latest video's of dungeons and party battles etc, there is a major overload of flashy spells and abilities going on, you can hardly see the mob they are attacking (in the dungeon) due to all the bright colours and flashes.

    This is wayyyyy too much....It is going to give every one a major head ache and sore eyes.

    This type of animation should be left for skill chains, and major spells abilities, not every single ability you have.

    Oh well lucky for me I have legacy status, so will get to give it a go soon in the beta... maybe its not as bad as I think....

    When watching the video i felt like i was in some nice club because my flat went from dark to bright almost instantly when they attacked a mob. Way too much flashyness.

    Take a look at the *Post your best action screenshots* and tell me 1.0 wasn't flashy...
    *Cough* Atomos *Cough* You couldn't see anything because of hoard of over sized flashy glowing mobs, and player skills.

    It's getting fixed for beta.

    Also, how is it "too" flashy when this series is known for having super crazy, over the top stuff? Having a swirly blue light for a second is too much? Knights of the Round from FFVII would like a word with you.

    Your comparing a-at best, six man battle in 2.0 with Atomos, which needed far more than that?

    Some folks would like to see they are hitting the right mob. I liked the series of switches they had from ffxi, which can be a boon in preventing slowdown in pitched fights.

    Awful engine from 1.0 was the problem. Shouldn't be an issue with A Realm Reborn.

    Or Eden in FF8, or Arc in 9, or Anima/Magus Overdrive in X, or Ultima in 12 etc etc
