If they don't keep the original OST for Ul'dah and Limsa i'll be very very sad

They are not expected to, although there is always the chance they could pop up somewhere else.
i thought they said 1.0 music was carrying over.
It'll be a mix of new and old...but from what we saw in the Alpha videos (>_>), its more new than old. :|

Limsa, oh hell yes! Ul'dah... oh nonononononono!
Seriously though, what's been leaked of the new ARR OST so far is definitely very, very good, if a little too ambient and Howard Shorish, but I still hold out hope that Soken won't completely try to replace Uematsu's original OST with his own work, as the more I listen to it, the more and more I'm loving the 1.0 OST.
One new Soken track I do really love though is the BGM for the 'New Beginning' opening movie (after the End of the Era section) - it really shows the cautious optimism of the new era despite the death and devastation of Dalamud's impact still being very raw. Hopefully we'll see it on a new OST album release sometime soon. *hint hint*

I think Soken and the sound team have done a fantastic job so far and I'm also looking forward to hearing what Limsa and Ul'Dah now sound like. Nobuo is still indeed legendary but there should also be an opportunity for us to listen to new talent... plus perhaps the Dev Team can add an instanced area where you can listen to all the sounds of the game.
I think this was what the FFXI team added to ToAU in the White Gate area; whereupon you could go into a (tea-house?), pay the NPC like 100gil and listen to any BGM within the game. I actually liked that feature and I hope they do something like that for FFXIV:ARR... that way we could all always listen to the old and the new.

"After ten years, finally headed to Sharlayan... absolutely stoked"
I always thought Ul'dah's sounded like elevator music >_>
