I have a question for Mr. Fernehalwes.

Could we get the story behind the emergence of the Male Miqo'te, Female Highlanders, and Female Roegadyn?

• Where did the Male Miqo'te come from?
• What are some juicy tidbits about naming conventions for Male Miqo'te?
• According to the old lore, Male Miqo'te were generally shy and only the females ventured out and adventured. Why are males so brave all of a sudden?
• Did a bunch of female Miqo'te die at Meteorfall forcing the males to come out of hiding?
• Beyond Merl, there are no known Female roes. Where are all of them? (I wasn't a member of the Maelstrom, so forgive me if it's explained there)
• Why are they in Eorzea?
• What's the story behind female Highlanders?
• Could we get some info about Male Miqo'te and female Highlander names?

I needs my daily dose of lore!

I plan on making a Male Miqo for ARR and this lore will help me get a sense of how I want to play him.

The only one i know is Female highlanders and not sure if the new dev team is still following that storyline. There not a lot of female highlanders in the world there very few so they stay inside the house pretty much the same thing about the male mithra in FFXI where they just use to have kids and noting more.

The rest is pretty much no idea not sure why male miqo'te grow some balls and now are outside fighting and such i guess we have to wait and see.

The truth is, pieces of Dalamud destroyed CatJoy, the only company able to produce catnip miqo'te toys. Now they move out to slaughter everyone who helped taking their toys.

I never really saw anything FFXIV lore wise saying anything about male Miqo'te... Male Mithra in FFXI yes... but not FFXIV...

Since the world is effectively rebooted, I think this is most likely.

The thing about Dalamud is that the radiation given off by it has caused everyone to mutate. That is why the "radiation" is allowing us to change our characters' appearance(s).
