What I think you meant to say:
Knock back in games that are bad in design is never a good idea. Or Knockback in games where it's an after thought (most MMOs) is a bad idea.
Just think of the possibilitie!
We're going to get more moves that determine the position of the enemies. Its pretty strange that Conjurer is the one with the knock back skill. Just as long as the devs dont copy-paste the function across all classes.
Hello Everyone!I am a studying animation student at the Unversity of the Arts in Philadelphia. I am originally from southern California.
it is a save-my-ass move, its not worthwhile for everything else, unless they rebalance it later
Aion Zwei - Masamune
so what about a launch ability like in FFXIII that lifts the enemy into the air =o
water was annoying, hope they fix the issues with knockback, otherwise remove the effect.
Most definitely, that's why we need to push it so that it gets in the final version.
Even though the whiner-grinder will be a major obstacle ("I can't watch a movie while fighting monsters anymore, they keep killing me by pushing me off the cliff.").
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
PvE knockback in this game always confused me. They would knock you back, then run up to melee range because they weren't actually a range based mob. I don't think I ever faced a knockback mob where it was as counter productive for me as it was for them.
This sounds like a great idea, until you realize that baring outliers like monsters that normally attack from a range, it's just going to be infinitely more convenient for the tank to just move to an ideal tanking spot and let the mob follow, just like always. Don't get me wrong, I look forward to knockback mechanics and I expect SE will find some "nifty" uses for them. I doubt, though, that moving an enemy into a perfect tanking spot will be one of them.
