Could be a fun miniboss, need a particular room and mechanic to support the classic tonberry though. Just walking around normal tonberry is a boring berry to me.

Not saying there cant be normal tonberries but it just doesnt feel as iconic as them slowly walking towards you with their lantern out... A miniboss could use something like that.

oh yeh I remember that pain... and then when I was doing summoner AF gloves... my coffer was right where king tonberry was... NOW THAT WAS FUN TO GET TO... I sent in a sacrificial taru... he was a good kid naive though... I GOT MY GLOVES THOUGH o_____o what a night that was... -sigh- in memory of you midgetofdoom!~ least i think that was the one o.O

That's a kick ass art piece of Tonberry.

I sure hope they add Tonberry race into FFXIV ARR.

They give good memories of FFXI when I killed so much of them while camping for thief's knife back then.

I like some of the new designs for monsters in XIV, however I do think we need more of the classics like tonberries! <3

Loved the tonberries! Being a BST was great because I would never have to reset the hate. It was always fun to watch one of the campers aggro the whole room/hallway and try to run. Classic!

I never got far enough in FFXI to see a Tonberry. I did have to deal with them on Tactics Advance 1 and 2, and I HATE them on there.
