Check out my blog at http://www.baffledgamer.com for technology and game reviews.
The Alpha testers seem intent on jumping constantly. I assume this won't change as we move into launch. Is it possible to create a simple "fatigue" system to prevent players from jumping constantly? I love the idea of jumping and it is necessary nowdays but at the same time I really don't want to see players "skipping" along from point A to point B.
All they have to do is to add physical weight for it. So there will be no flood of bunny hopping. In the same way of most FPS games ^^
You can't hear the background music.
They aren't jumping, they are MOSHING
not this again....
trust me, the jump will get old after 2 months into ARR launch. Most people will only jump for shortcuts such as down/up hill cliffs.
Only idiots will constantly jump 24/7...(that live letter is to show case the server able to handle so many players at same area and screen while jumping to show there is no lag).
i love how people dont understand that the devs asked them to jump to show of the engine! not the jumping :/
i hope i dont meet you, my jump bottom might break.
