Arigatou Yoshida San. You and your team have done an amazing job with FFxiv. I can't wait to play ARR.

I'm glad the dev team is able to see all the praise they are getting, you guys really turned this game around and brought it back to life, I love you guys man!
Those are the aspects of SE's cutscenes that so often mark them out from the rest.
Warcraft's recent new expansion was accompanied by a trailer which was excellently done, with a moment or two of humour which made me chuckle, but ultimately it was sterile, graphically very good but with no 'feeling' at all.
Same could be said for LOTRO's 'Rohan' expansion, the videos were pretty awesome, the 'feeling' entirely absent.
Your writers did themselves proud with the End of an Era video, they deserve the kudos they've received for it.
It was since FFX i didn't see a such emotional video in a FF. The true FF spirit. It was perfect. To our loyal fans,
I wanted to take the time to personally thank all of you once again for your support over the past two years. It has been a long, hard journey, and there is still much more road left to travel, but we could have never made it this far without each and every one of you providing the strength for us to carry on.
Since the release of the End of an Era trailer, we have been flooded with positive feedback from around the world. It was always our goal to create something that would equal the epic cinematics players have come to expect from the FINAL FANTASY series─not just graphically, but in terms of story and emotion, as well─and we are excited to see that so many were moved by the plight of Louisoix and the Eorzean Alliance.
This five-minute tribute to the heroes of Eorzea may mark the end of one era, but at the same time, it represents the dawn of another. To ensure that era is a truly breathtaking experience, we are paying close attention to even the smallest of details. As such, we must ask that you bear with us while we continue the creation process─though I believe most of you will find that it will have definitely been worth the wait.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.

Really thanks to you and the entire dev team making something nobody made until now: to rebuild a game totally from the ground. An enormous work, in only 2 years. Hope you'll go in the hall of fame of videogames for this, you deserves it.
And.. once the ARR is released, Yoshi-p, take a DAMN 1 month holiday please!
Ganbatte!

See you on the other side Yoshi-P! The journey mimics the lyrics of "Answers" almost perfectly. Upon release, we were the chorus, crying out for solace. Shortly after you and your team took over, the mood changed, bringing the smallest glimmer of hope. Later, we saw our world change dramatically, increasing in tempo until those final moments.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you and your team are creating the most inspiring work out of Japan game development in the past few years. Other than a few issues (class balance imitating FFXI, hat farming.... could have really used the FATE system then hehe), you've all paved the road to this amazing journey that we are lucky to have shared.
Also, tell your dev team that manly tears were shed at the end of the trailer. MANLY TEARS!
Yoshi-P is my hero!
Anyone else got a .hack// flashback when the new seal was being constructed? The runes on it looked like 100101010101111 at first glance.

I can assure you I will be seeing the next era. Take all the time you need to make the next era truly a success I'm sure I speak for most of the community when I say we want you to succeed and we will wait as long as it takes.
Thank you again for 2 years of hard work, and I hope it continues for years to come.
