And I am happy the Lancer's guild looks badass.

I dunno which video you were looking at but I think it looks totally different - well to the point that it still looks like Gridania though.
Can you ellaborate what kind of changes were you exactly expecting?

I thought the exact same thing, especially when he was around the area with the children playing.

No inertia in the characters movements.
The character turning when the camera is panned is incomplete.
Lack of movement animations when character accelerates/decelerates.

Other than that, looks beautiful and addictive, can't wait for panty shots gallore

Follow-up of my previous post

I felt bad to not add comments on other aspects of the video. Just wanted to add that the water looks much better than the current one. And I'm also intrigued by that transportation dock at the water side. I don't remember there being ships in Gridania XD. Or will that become the new airship docking, like in ffxi? In any case I can't wait

Cons (that might still be worked on, it's alpha after all)

Like some people mentioned, I'm also slightly bothered by non-existant turning animation. Hopefully the development team are working on at least putting something that won't cause animation lock. This includes with or without weapon drawn out.

Im just telling the truth. It really look like old Gridania. Smal changes yes, but in the end nothing but same old Gridania. Thats fine with me because i like Gridania as it is now^^

The cat's adorable when she jumps, but she would fall on her face landing like that...

Otherwise, it looks fantastic. =)

To be fair, the lack of inertial animations hasn't really bothered me thus far (I didn't even notice in previous videos until someone pointed it out, ) but I cringed every time she landed and just slid forward without falling over...
