    I'm wondering the same thing, too...

    The event happened on Excalibur a while ago and after slaying the imperials, I went to scout Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, Camp Bentbranch and Camp Black Brush, and eventually Ul'dah, but no sign of the Garleans.

    Hopefully this new event will continue and we'll learn more.
