SE, We want more hairstyles in A Realm Reborn!

Alright, so before everyone jumps the gun and yells at me; I know this has been posted in other topics already. I know that any added hairstyles might not be in the character creation video because its only an alpha build (Video was great, btw ^.^).

But just in case, I wanted to make a dedicated topic to it so we can make sure that SE sees this and knows that we're adamant about wanting more hairstyles! Upvote this and show the Devs! It would be great to see someone from the Dev department post on this and let us know if anything is planned!

Yes, yes. In ARR, I want us Lala to have the same amount as the other races, but who knows what SE has planned. >_>

I am ok with current (and in Alpha VDO) number of hairstyles, but it would be great if each hairstyle has adjustable length of hair. Though the hairstyle choices in FFXIV is quite limited, I don't see my twins everywhere like in some other games. Happy with that, but getting to choose the hair length will be very nice to have.

I'd love to see an accurate conversion of FFXI's hume male ducktail hair cut, the one with the spikey combed up fringe. I feel like the mowhawk was meant to represent it but somehow became ... really different lol. Most of the male hyurs in xiv though, we all seem to use the same 2 hair styles, i tend to see them at least 3/5 times. Given the very limited preset colour swatches, a few subtley adjustable faces and no way to alter physical mass, i dont think any amount of face paints and scars are really gonna help make us look unique in comparison to other members of our race & gender. More hair would really help this.

I have a feeling however that for some of us right now, what we're seeing here (hair wise) is all we're getting, so im going through the motions of acceptance right now haha. I think SE will be far more concerned with getting the game running and dealing with the gameplay feedback than with hearing our pleas for more cosmetic options. However we may get more hair options later down the line if they do infact create barber shops!

As far as character creators go, I would say 10-15 each would be a great number. I feel you poor highlanders with like, 3? Even skyrims lizards have around 15 hairstyles and they dont even have hair!
