Best Bow In -Game?

Hello Everyone! Do anyone know what is the best bow in-game? The AF Bow / Artemis Bow isnt the best bow in-game. When Artemis Bow was out i was thinking that was the bow in-game but no it inst. Maybe the Grand Company bows? They are realy good bows. I use Serpent Lituant`s Bow. Do you know what bow is the best?

Artemis Bow IS the best bow in the game.

Bows are a funny weapon in 1.0.

The delay has no impact on the DPS whatsoever as Light shot is always 5 seconds so high damage, high delay bows will always be better in regards to Light shot.

The DPS stat does still influence your weapon skill damage however so watch out for that.

Artemis bow has a delay of 4.1 which is one of the highest in regards to a bow.
Ifrit is 4.3, Mogbow and Giantsgall are 4.2 and Garuda is 3.1

I use Serpent Lituant`s Bow. Do you know what bow is the best?

Whilst this bow has a nice DPS of 40.30 (Garuda is 40.96 to put that in persepctive) it has a very low delay of 3.3 (Garuda us 3.1) and a low damage of 77 (Garuda is 3.1).
It's not the worst bow in the entire world but it's definately nothing on Artemis which is 41.93 DPS, 4.1 delay and 116 damage.

If you're going to post about BRD, at least try not to be terribly wrong.

The delay on the bow does effect light shot, the fact that you don't know this indicates that you've never used a 3.1s bow.

Most players will get better mileage with the Uldah Lieutenant bow.

I use Garuda's bow actually. Just ran out of town to see if it was 5 seconds or not. It's a 3 second recast!
Guess I need glasses

I always remember our Bards in Garuda taking 4 hits to get enough TP in Garuda using her bow instead of 3 hits with Ifrit bow. The TP gained per hit is relative to the delay on the weapon. It was insinuated that the Garuda bow was just as slow as the Ifrit bow but perhaps I should have checked this out myself first. Normally I'd say if I was making assumptions!
