Rejoice European players! The Culinarian Creation Contest has now arrived to our land! This time, adventurers will be tasked with preparing a dessert! So what will it be? Cake? Pastry? Pudding!? The choice is yours! All you have to do is to create a dessert recipe using ingredients found in Eorzea (and their real life counterparts)! Post it alongside an in-game screenshot of your character cooking as a Culinarian at the guild in Limsa Lominsa and the Community Team will let their salivary glands take care of the rest.

We’ll be picking 3 winners per language (a total of 9 winners)!

Theme
Create a dessert recipe and add a screenshot of your character cooking at the Culinarian Guild in Limsa Lominsa.

Who may Enter

• Contestants must possess an active FINAL FANTASY XIV service account and have access to a working internet connection and web browser in order to be able to enter. Contestants are responsible for all connection charges associated with the internet connection and subscription fees associated with the registration for a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account.
• Contestants must accept our privacy policy and cookies policy located here.

• Contestants under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a legal guardian before submitting entries.
• The Contest is not open to employees, directors or other officers of Square Enix Europe or its respective affiliates, agents, media partners and suppliers.

Entry Method

• Write a dessert recipe and publish a screenshot of your character cooking in the game. Publish the recipe and the screenshot together on the entry thread.

• Entries are limited to one per person. In the case multiple entries are submitted, only the first one will be accepted.
• One screenshot per entry. Please make sure that the name of your character is visible on the screenshot.
• Once you have submitted your entry, you will be unable to edit your post.

How to Post an Image

1. Upload your recipe entry to your Lodestone blog or other image hosting website
   *For uploading images to Lodestone, please refer to the instructions listed here to learn about the upload process.
2. Copy the URL for the uploaded picture.
   *This can be done by opening your image of choice in your Image List and then right-clicking and selecting "Copy Image Location." This process may differ depending on the browser you are using.
3. Finally, when posting on the forum, use the [IMG] tag and place the URL between them.

Winners will have to place a GM call in order to have their prize delivered in-game.
All prizes are in-game items and have no monetary value.

Winner Selection

Winners will be announced on the forum on 11 October, 2012 10:00am (GMT).

Regarding Inappropriate Submissions:
Entries falling under either of the below categories will not be considered by the judges:

• Entries containing obscenity, vulgarity, discrimination, or any other offensive subject matter
• Entries containing any plagiarized or copyrighted material

The following factors may also result in disqualification:

• infringements upon copyright/intellectual property, personal credit, privacy, etc.
• counter to public order and/or morals
• submissions with content judged to be grossly deviant from the established theme
• entries not containing all of the required information, or containing erroneous information

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW SQUARE ENIX EUROPE. WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ENTRY THAT IS SUBMITTED TO THE CONTEST AND THAT INFRINGES THE COPYRIGHT OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF A THIRD PARTY. In the event that an entry violates a third-party’s copyright, the user’s FINAL FANTASY XIV service account may be suspended or cancelled.

All entries and other materials (the "Entry Materials") (including all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights associated therewith) submitted by you become the property of Square Enix Europe upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any contestant. In consideration of our acceptance and review of your Entry Materials into the Contest, you hereby assign to Square Enix Europe absolutely all right, title and interest for the full duration of copyright in and to the Entry Materials throughout the world. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Square Enix Europe will own all rights to use, modify, and make derivative works of the Entry Materials, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity.
