Reduced in proportion to everyone else (same %). Just saying reduced can lead to some bad assumptions on whats happening.

In proportion you have the same amount of gil.

yes, it is a proportional reduction, but it's hard to say that me losing 270mil while someone else loses 300k is really nothing more than a reduction.

you are correct that 2 people lose the same %, but you can't argue that everyone will have less.

Yes the number is less but so long as people accept the change the value will not be any lesser.

Although it is a gil reduction the value of the gil is going way up overall. So your 100 million will be equivalent to the 10 million you will have in 2.0. It will resemble FFXI in many ways likely.

i've played non stop since release and have everything geared and capped. it's hard to force myself to buy anything i can go out and get myself and make.

Sadly they just said in a dev post today that everyone was getting cut down to 1/10 of their gil

Here's another one that doesn't get it.

From what they've said, your mule will be down 3,000,000 leaving it at 27,000,000.


EDIT: Read it wrong. Thought they said "by" 1/10. Not "to" 1/10.
