Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on Wii U? Possibility?

So they showed the "Wii U" about it's Features, Price, Release date, ect.
The Technical specifications where also shown and I see it is more powerful than the PS3 or Xbox 360 like some people said it would.
(or at lest more memory then either one) 2GB Total {1GB for games, 1 GB for system software}

I think I remember Yoshi-P saying about "After" they get the game working on the PS3, that they might port the game to other consoles as well. [Correct me if I'm wrong]

Do you believe the game could run on the Wii U?
Do you think Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the Wii U is a fun idea?
Do you think it could do something cool with the UI with the gamepad?
Should they just stay away from the Wii U?

Mainly, what are your thoughts on the idea?

personally, I don't think the Wii U is going to be around long enough for a MMO to really take off on it.

I don't think the WiiU will even LAST by the time ARR is announced for it. The WiiU is just another gimmick by Nintendo trying to be "innovative" anyway (And the Wii only lasted 6 years) I'm already peeved that Bayonetta2 is announced for the stupid thing, my PS3 and I are enraged.

Yeah I don't really see it happening. I used to love Nintendo to death but now they've gone super casual. Wii U just like the Wii doesn't really look impressive. No offense to people who own Wii, I did too. Nintendo games of the past were the stuff of legends but now the company is more for "Families" then actual "Gamers".

Considering the main numbered Final Fantasy series hasn't even seen a Nintendo system since Super NES days (aside from Handheld ports) I doubt XIV will be the one to make a return to Nintendo on the Wii U. Especially considering with the subscription model, the kind of people willing to shell out money monthly for the latest Final Fantasy game aren't going to be the sort who only have access to a Wii U. If XIV went F2P it might be a different story as that could appeal to the families and super casuals but I don't see that happening either.

while it won't kill 'em, It may kill their home console division, bet after the Wii U we're only ever going to see handhelds from Nintendo
