I'm not the type to get on here and make suggestions because I'm not naive enough to believe they will ever be read by any of the devs, but wouldn't it be a dream come true if you could pull the games widgets off to one of your other computer screens.

Example: Game on monitor 1; Map/battle Log on monitor 2

I hope once the modding community grows in lieu of more subs in 2.0 we someday get an app like this.

Sorry, I don't believe in unicorns, magic, dev's reading English forums, etc. I can see you must be one of those glass half full types. Heck, the only place the community reps post are in threads no one cares about for that matter, so who knows what kind of crazy stuff they relay to the devs anyway; if anything.

My hope is someone makes an app for this. I don't think it would be that hard, we had a map app in XI, and considering parsers read your battle log I bet it wouldn't be that hard to make a window that just displays the battle log.

While an extremely cool feature - and don't get me wrong, I am behind you 100% - it would only be possible if they design the game in a very specific way. The reason you don't see many games that have multi-screen support is because you have to specifically instruct DirectX how to handle it. That being said, FFXIV has multi-screen support right now (as I understand it at least), so perhaps it indeed possible. Certainly if the game is capable of being displayed on all monitors, I don't see why this would be terribly difficult to write a mod for. Hmmm, I'll add it to my list I suppose.
