Was wandering if there was any Gridanian gear that would actually be worth getting, other than the earring, but since that requires 4 or more pieces, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Also, I have the Gridanian square shield (MACC+10), but idk if this counts as one of the "4 serpent pieces."

Currently using:

AF Body
29 Int felt hat of int
22 Int electrum scepter
Mage's Rope Belt
12 Int Woolen Tights
11 AMP Mahogany Pattens
Mage's Halfgloves

To answer your question, ANY gear that has gridanian, or Serpent in it from your GC will count as serpent gear towards the set bonuses, so yes the Square shield will work.
From your GC you absolutely will want too get Serpent sergeants earrings, Serpent Sergeant's Jackboots and Serpent Sergeants belt.
This will unlock all your INT set bonuses on them items with your shield, effectively gaining 17 INT in places where that particular stat is seldom.

with the specified items, I would be gaining AMP+4, Int+17
Is this worth the loss of 2MACC and 12 AMP?

Also, assuming I were to switch to using Garuda's Van, what other 4th item would be good to put in place of the shield?
