Ifrit battle (Hard) as solo White Mage

Not a 1vs1 fight against Ifrit, although, I wish we could. But I recorded this video and added some comments in the discription for any White Mages out there that would like to try it out, that haven't had the chance yet. Good luck and have fun!

people did the solo heal method way back in 1,18 when they did 6 LNC 1 CNJ 1 GLA. Makes it a lot easier when half ur party doesnt die to cracks

Yep! I remember back then, but wanted to get an updated video for everyone to see and try who hasn't had the chance.

Yeah I been soloing healing ifrit since before jobs came out mostly because the other whm would always die ;;

haha yeah sometimes that happens. I just try and give them pointers because I remember how it felt to be confused in there.

Can't look at Youtube at work, but I was hoping it was going to be a WHM soloing Ifrit, lol. I was going to be like "WHM: The New Redmage."

lol I wish. But I edited the first comment so people won't think it's 1 vs 1. That'd be fun if it was possible. Maybe someday there will be something like that.

Grats, It's kinda a sign of skill / teamwork when you can run with one whm i think. you have the average pug group of beginners / less skilled players who run 2 for safety. then as you get better you can say goodbye to one of them. sign of improvement so to speak.

try with no whms lol. (or conjurers)

did it PLD BRD 6xBLM once. not something i'd try agian though, admittedly the brd spent more time curing and stoneskinning me than shooting anything. and a huge amount of fluke through amazingly well timed jumps. done it once though i'm happy with that.

Yeah, you're right, it's all about teamwork. I have killed Ifrit with a pug as tank once, which was challenging but fun. Never thought of no whms before.. I think i'll brd and try that tonight.

Always a fun event is an all CNJ Ifrit (Hard). I did the same as above thinking, "Oh wow someone went in and did a kite lets see how far I can solo him deal". Its good practice as most end game content is one WHM like Ifrit (Extreme), Garuda, etc etc
