I'd like to see another tier of job development similar to FF1. Things like Red Wizard, Ninja. I always liked that idea and it seems like it would fall pretty well into FFXIV at a later date though.

i would welcome this lore addition / quest updating idea to tie your job into obtaining the job or abilities gear. i myself miss the bard scholar and dancer quests from ffxi. whether it be bard learning you are the keeper of songs and stories of vanadiel past and it has become your duty to carry them forward to strengthen your fellows and debilitate your foes. then there was scholar the generals of the great crystal war devoted to the study of both schools of light and dark magic and to switch them independently to turn the tide of battle as well as the lore that came with scholar of the original SCH a tarutaru named Lungo-Nango who was banished by windurst when they decided only pure magic arts should be studied and then at a later date revived by Gunther Schultz. who can forget dancer those dazzling dance divas of the crystal war weaving magic to support there allies and the lore of them being the final protectors of bards on the battlefield.

sorry i had a nerdgasim of vana lore
