Oooohhhhhhhhh. I like this idea. If it had 'back door' access from my Inn (or my House) that would be great. And if it was a bit more like 'classical' Airships / Boat. I.e.:

1) In house -- summon my airship!
2) In airship -- walk around, enjoy the view.
3) Select the destination
4) Finally get dropped off

I would pay a handsome coin for this ^.^; And I think it would not be too difficult to implement.

I would prefer to have an airship (or ship) to pilot myself.

i prefer the idea of LS/company airship and while controlling it you get the classic overhead view
will be useful for going to events..ect

I'd prefer a permit to craft one.

I'd definitely be all for player/company owned airships. Even if the extent of piloting it was selecting a destination on the map from a list I'd be fine, as long as we can walk around inside of it.
