So what's the best way to level fishing? Straight up grind or do it the same as Miner/Botany with leves at 10/20/30/40, etc?

Leves are the go-to method for DoL for a few reasons:

1) You're getting XP for fishing just like normal but also getting the XP bonus for clearing it on top of that.

2) Leves have you going after schools of fish which bite the line much more quickly.

3) You can go to higher level camps a few levels before you get the searching ability for it.


However, one thing I've noticed is that there are much less fishing points than mining and logging points so they are easier to locate. If you stack enough Gathering and find a good high level camp where the fishing schools aren't around any aggro it could be some good XP.
