This event reminded me how truly awful the targetting system is in this game.

You're right about that, DB. I REALLY, REALLY did not like this event. I could not pull off the Fire Dance emote at all on the Bombards. I made a macro, but gawd it's horrible to target!!

It is simple my dears, simply wait on the outskirts of the pop radius till the third, second or last wave and /firedance one king once. There you get your ash and stop popping them so others can (unless they are going to hit the balloons).

You do not need to run around like a chicken spamming everywhere.

That is... until day 2 of the event when no one is around XD

I tend to just wait until the last few waves because it's usually got a healthy bit of people skirting the area making my involvment until near the end not even required.

Feel bad for those who try this once it's slower though <_< be pretty tough to get them all.

We have been seeing some comments about not being able to clear the event as the number of participants is starting to drop as we get closer to the end of the event. We urge those having trouble to try out the event at each of the city-state's around the realm and see how you fare! *cough*

Also, some players have been wondering if it will be possible to use the new dance emote after the event has ended. Unfortunately this emote is a special one that can only be used during the event. The /blowkiss emote from Valentione’s Day is something that can be used outside of the event, so as a special case we added it to the regular array of emotes.
