So as soon as I saw this hat on patch day, I was all giddy! My first (and only) luminary is The Needle of the Luminary and I just love Weaver! ^_^ The moment the patch finished downloading, I got to crafting! Excitement burning through me! Epic top hat is gonna be so perfect on my Weaver! Eeeeee! *cue fangirl scream*

I finished the hat and my heart was racing as I put it on for the first time.....

D:< Wtf is that?! Why am I wearing a beanie with my top hat?! /sulk!

It had so much potential!

Dont get me wrong, I still love the stats on it and what not but look at me...

I agree in full! Please take out the skullcap. My beret with a green feather has sentimental value, but I'd gladly start wearing the WVR hat if such a simple tweak is made. It's quite possibly the worst-looking head piece in the game.

Edit: I'd like to add that I leveled WVR first because I actually give a damn about in-game appearance. I didn't level it just to look like an idiot wearing a weird tilted black cake. A simple top-hat would be perfect for whatever you're planning the rest of the gear to look like.

Yoshi-P finally showed us the looks of whole weaver's gear set in the niconico live the other day, so I couldn't hold myself to reply to this thread to talk about the still-remaining skullcap.


I love its whole looks. I think it's beautifully designed, but the only thing I don't really like about is, again, the skullcap.
Does SE need to put it under the silk hat because they need to consider many variety of hair shapes? or?

In case they can't technically remove the skullcap, I don't think it really needs to be tilted.
If they want to keep it tilted, then maybe I would like them to get it smaller, which hopefully won't be bothered by any types of hair shape.
But that might look like a female hat, tho...

I agree completely! When I saw that I would get a fancy top hat I was like WOOOOOOOOT.
So I was gonna get stuff to make it then I saw someone wearing it and went ohhh -_-

I wanted to be fancy ; ; and yea the new weaver outfit looks sooo cute but wth pothelm under fancy hat?!
I never made that hat either *sigh* but now with that picture I have to cause it wouldnt look right without it,
just wish they would take away that stupid skull cap. I mean is there really any reason why it there?
