Discontinued Content in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn

I don't mind "re-doing" quests I've "already done" (well, if they're different, can't really say it's re-doing them), but I would seriously mind having to start over leveling a new character just to experience the new versions of quests because my character has "already done" them and is locked out.

I'm a bit worried about the same thing. I don't think I can get all my crafts to 36 and still enjoy all the other content that's coming out. Actually, I do plan on leaving some of them alone for after A Realm Reborn so that I can see what leveling is like in the new era, but I'll regret not knowing the current version of the quests.

No, the quote from Rukkirii said "incomplete" achievements will not be displayed (i.e. unearned). So if you didn't earn a discontinued achievement before A Realm Reborn launches, it will not be displayed in the UI as unfinished or missed. And achievement points, rewards, and titles earned will be carried over.

Does this include/mean the items obtained from achivements? I was under the impression that since no achivements that contained an item was on the list that things like Crowns and such were safe.

Could you clear up for us if you mean items in general, all items or Achivement items only? (I need my crowns! Please don't take my royalty!)

I'm still trying to get the other achivements done before then!
