I can also recommend MSI Afterburner, which most of you know only as graphics card overclocking and monitoring tool. It also has screen and video capture, like fraps, but is completely free to use without limitations. You can just lock the overclocking settings to avoid using them accidentally, and just use the capture features. And, software is made and supported by MSI, a major pc component manufacturer.

personally I found using Bandicam was a ton better then Fraps, didn't slow down the cpu like fraps did for me while recording .

In XI it was possible to use just the gamepad to take screenshots...will that be possible in ARR. I play on an HP laptop and have had no success taking pics, and I refuse to use a 3rd party program.

Please allow us to be able to map the keys too... I got a new keyboard recently and I can't do scroll lock + print screen because both are combined on one key >_<

This is very common problem, most new keyboards have at least one of the keys in a hard-to-get-to place, some have gotten rid of it altogether. Bought my keyboard with the criteria that both are easily available, didn't find too many.

And it's good to see this feature is coming to XIV built-in now. ^^ Lets many people get rid of 3rd party software, just for screenshots. And the current screenshots taken without programs are a lot better quality than the ones taken with 3rd party.
