I Missed the Nightmare Cutscene

I logged on today and after a short bit of loading, the inn music disappeared, and by pressing the cancel button and being told I could not skip this event, I realized I was having the nightmare. I waited about five minutes with nothing happening, but the game had not frozen, so I decided to close it and reopen it, hoping that would solve the problem. Just as it closed, I see a screen of my character on the bed, which I believe is that start of the cutscene. I logged on again, expecting to see all of it this time, yet it was like it had never happened. After logging in a few hours later, I had no cutscene, but had the message that I'd had 'a vivid dream that I was incubating an enormous egg'. I couldn't find it in the unending journey, so it appears I've completely missed the cutscene, which is annoying

Your character is not on the bed in the nightmare sequence but he is on the quest for finding a weapons thief.

Your watching the cutscene is not a factor for the unending journey.

What probably happened is that by closing the game, your data was lost and the quest requirement wasn't triggered for it to appear in the Unending Journey.

Log out again in the same Inn and this time don't cancel. 5 minutes is a long long time to wait tho. I'm really surprised you had to wait that long without disconnecting somehow. Do your cutscenes usually take that long?

Ahh, okay. They're not usually that long, which is why I closed the game, thought it might have got stuck or something.

But what about the nightmare? From what I've been told, that message I got refers to it, but I didn't even have any loading time for it, just went straight to the inn room.

On the nightmare, the first thing you see is Dalamud.

Not sure you can even get the Nightmare cutscene anymore.

One of my characters got the nightmare for the second time a few days ago so don't worry, there will be other chances so long as you always log out from your bed. Good luck!

Click Hear. I happened to record it (god knows why?) last month or before. I saw this thread and decided to upload it. I think it is repeatable now but not sure. So I just figured what the hell. At half a minute I've got a fashionably awesome hairdo. Funky!

I didn't miss the Nightmare cutscene. I saw it. But I kinda miss the idea of it now.

Will there be more dream/nightmare Cutscenes in ARR?
