its about 24m-27m per double melded mailbreaker on wards.

As long as it is T4 materia of the requested type, that's all you need.so about the double melds, i understand that hq is best way to go ( if ya have the cash and luck ) but can it be non hq Tier IV materia as well ?
cause i am aiming for pld relic, but if i want that done i need to get over 300 mil lol, i have a hard time allready getting to 10 >.<
still a lot of money, but lets see if i be able to do it lol, thx a lot guys
So, why the recommendation for HQ materials?
I'm genuinely curious as I don't see what difference having a regular or +1 item makes - the Relic's final stats are set in stone aren't they? Do HQ items have a higher success rate on the 2nd meld or something?
Double melding into an HQ item increases your chances of meld success by 5%.
Also, one specific ingredient of each weapon MUST be HQ (The "flawless" part), or else you can't craft it.

OOOO Okay, thanks for clearing that up.
Wasn't aware of the 5% bonus on HQ's either (seems a bit low too but w/e).
Do you know an "easy" way to raise Spiritbond?
This is just silly for a weapon. Seems counter productive and alot of time put in for not much return. Just the hamlet seals take forever let alone the double meld (ive failed 4x times already ><). Its just plain expensive otherwise. Hopefully they cut some parts out when 2.0 comes out.

Relics aren't supposed to be easy or for everybody. In fact compared to ffxi, they seem far too easy to obtain here given how many people already have them, or all of them...
