    Castrum Novum H-1 spawn system

    Hello world ~

So, I'm playing about in Castrum this weekend!
It's been a nightmare however, the Magitek Vanguard H-1s have a bizarre spawn pattern!

So far I've managed to figure that past the first gate there is a H-1 Vanguard from 7:00 and de-pops at 19:00
The second gate has a Vanguard from 13:00 onwards. I'm assuming it de-pops between 19:00-1:00

The third gate (where the Level 63 Vanguard lingers) seems to be 19:00+ although this is unconfirmed as of yet. What I do know however is we have only had a kill in this third area at night.
This H-1 also seems to be relevant to the two Vanguards that spawn in this area. I haven't seen a H-1 spawn without there being a standard Vanguard there initially.

I'm unsure if the killing of the first two Vanguards are relevant to the spawning of the Level 63 or not.

Has anybody else explored the ins and outs of the Vangard spawn system?

<Super edit> Just had a H-1 up for the entire in-game day. What does it mean? Who knows!

With the potential inclusion of Gunblades comes so much more.
Why stop there? Why not Thief Blades, Buster Swords and black magic dolls?

The Vangard H-1s drop the coffer keys and the mats to synth items such as the Darksteel Hauby ~!

Clear out the lake area Garleans (within the wall), NOT including the magitek that is also in the area. Once all the Garleans are dead the H-1 will spawn. Happy hunting!

Suggestion: During the daytime there are some wolves and other magiteks that spawn in the area right outside of the lake. It is safer to hunt these at night time.

On two occasions, the Magitek Vanguard H-1 popped 1 second after we killed 1 Imperial. I don't remember the Imperial surname but I also don't think it was a coincidence either.

This is bang on, we actually set up camp in the lake against the rocks. It takes a bit to get in there, but once there... we reap the benefits until we happen to get tired and mess up against the lvl 63 nightmare Magitek =)
