Binomial Nomenclature and /tell /target commands

Must we have two names? Aside from aesthetics, I don't see the function. Having only one name makes it faster to /tell, /target, etc. It is probably too late to change this now but...

Perhaps, they could reduce the text input requirements of the /tell and /target command.

If you want just an improper name, by all means I don't care anymore. But don't tell me I should not be allowed to have a proper name, period.

I like having First Name and Last Name in this game but they should to a tell by clicking on the character you wanna talk to as well. Such a pain...

If you're finding it a pain to type out somebody's full name you can just type the first three letters and hit tab key. This'll have the rest of the name pop up!

You have to interact with them beforehand, but once that's out of the way you're all set!

For example, if I player were to type 'F - A - D' and hit tab after say... sending me a tell they'd get 'Fadigre Delmonty' pop up in their auto-translate options


I would like the option to designate shortcuts for players however. Such as '/t Fadi' would go directly to me if somebody were to choose to set it

Some form of auto complete for the names would be nice. A text file of every character name on your server would not be hard to generate at login, and would be bloody time in size. So type the first 4-5 characters and it starts suggesting or some such.
