Hey Devs: Can There Ever Be A Male Miqo'te Player Character W/a Gobbue Mount?

This is an odd question for my first thread.

With the posting of a reminder notice about the expiration of the Gobbue Mount quest: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...db74c478bf55ee

I wonder if the new changes that will be added to Character Creation will be applicable to only new characters or can our current characters change their cosmetic features/gender after 2.0?

Scenario: I plan to have a Male Miqo'te but will that require the deletion of my current male Elezen character or will I be able to change my current character [the one with the Gobbue Mount and future Legacy Chocobo Gift] into a Male Miqo'te?

It is sort of frustrating not knowing if everything that I am doing now to grow my current character will be all wasted or not because of a need to create a whole new character to take advantage of the new character creation features available after 2.0.

Well...we can change characters but what about names? If you have a Miqote with the name "Iron Chick" or something and you change to Male Miqote in 2.0...that is not gonna work too well. People would be forced to delete their character and/or remake it from scratch and not be able to get the mount so a response before it disappears would be most helpful ^^;

I want to know if goobue will be tied to the account or the character in 2.0. Since I'm a legacy member, I'll be able to and intend to make many new characters for free. So I'd be kind of disappointed if I can't ride my goobue on my new characters as well.

Most other gift type items (onion helm, garlond goggles, hermes shoes, asuran armguards, and I'm assuming legacy chocobo) are tied to the account and all new characters you make on the account start out with the items, so for this not to be the case with goobue would be an anomaly and I'm hoping the devs can work something out to make goobue tied to your account as well.

They are not an account reward, but a character specific reward. I have multiple character's but only get to have the Goobue on ones that I reached level 30 and unlocked it with.
