i have completed the qst up to the point where you investigate the crash site for cid. My journal reads that i have killed garleans and recieved a key that will open the strongbox but when i go to the marker on the map it wont do anything for me. does not activate a cut scene or anything although i have stood there and watched multiple other characters stand there frozen while they are obviously in the cutscene. i have logged out and zoned out of the are and it still wont work. please help

I'm lost on this too. I'm at camp brittlebark, rode northwest and didn't find and didn't find anything. followed a couple players, and ended up deep inside the enemy fortress, which was cool, but not what i'm looking for. Anyone have a POS?

tab around on the box until you get a ??? and click >< then go back and have a chat with cid

What Turanga said. After killing the garleans, I wandered around the box aimlessly too until I finally tabbed around and realized there was a ??? there all along...

I tried tabbing around the box too, but no ??? would appear for me! It was marked on my mini map with that ? mark but I could not click on ANYTHING near the strong box, no matter what I tried. :/

You need to stand on west side of box and tab until ??? appears as your target. Clicking on box, running around box, F12 to target all these things did not work.

Piss poor design, if you are going to have multiple ways to target then they should all work. SE needs to have their devs go back and play some other MMOs to make sure they understand how to implement the simple things.

thanks everyone for the help. tabbing until the ??? pops up did work. i dont know why it didnt occur to me but i am used to simple clicking on thing. i really appreciate the help. thanks again
