Thread: Proposal: Psuedo-fresh start for 2.0

I've noticed how some people are wanting a fresh start for 2.0, to experience all the new version has to offer. others don't want to start all over, and for good reasons.

But what about a third option? Why not offer a "semi-fresh" start for those of us who want to keep what we've gotten, but still have the fresh experience?

Basically, what i'm proposing is a semi-wipe option you can choose if you want when 2.0 goes live. If you choose it, you will keep any acheivements, items, gil, and quests we won't be able to do anymore, while losing your levels, and stuff like job AF, and being eligable to do beginner quests for 2.0 and such.

That way people can get the experience of leveling their jobs in 2.0 and see the game through a new players eyes, without losing their hard earned gil, primal weapons, chocobo, goobue, etc.

Only problem i can see is it might be difficult to decide what stays and what goes, to keep the game from breaking. :x

Yep pretty much if you want a fresh start take advantage of your Legacy Status and use up those 40 character slots, or even if you aren't eligible for it you'll still be able to make at least 1 char on each server.
