They wont remove the dugeons or related achievments.
All the current grand company progression quests will be gone as they are all garlean invasion/dalamud/7th umbral era related.
The grand company side missions will stay as there not related to the impending doom.
If you noticed we dont actualy rank up for completing GC quests, to rank up you need to spend seals which i guess they had to do if they were to remove a bunch of GC quests and start a new GC story in 2.0.
Speaking of GC quests..... how to unlock "A weaver and a Mummer" quest?
Alright, thanks guys. I know I'll at least be doing the dungeons, then, just in case. I'm glad the tougher ones like GC seal quests (probably) won't be disappearing.. no way I'll get those done before 2.0
YAY !!!!!!!

GE: Could the community get a list of which current achievements will not be available in 2.0?
Yoshida: That’s a great idea! We will try to get it out with the release of 1.23. We don’t want to upset the fans.
EDIT: and....
GE: We know that there is some game content that will no longer be available with the launch of 2.0. Will any of the current achievements likewise be unavailable after 2.0?
Yoshida: Yes, there will be some that can only be obtained now. For example, since the maps will be completely changed in 2.0, aetheryte will be in different places. So there will be new achievements that players will be able to obtain based on the new locations. Another example are achievements based on participating in the current events that lead up to the Seventh Umbral Era.
Speaking of the devil indeed. Wonderful news, that.
