Resource maps for gatherers

If you need information on where things can be found when gathering in Final Fantasy XIV we have created maps that will let you find almost any item in the game that can be gathered.

The maps will also let you find where resource points of different types and ranks are located. What this means is that you will always be able to know where to go to make the most efficient SP and XP.

I hope you will get a lot of information from these maps. We are an entire community dedicated to adding information to them in order to provide the best experience.

Just wish it would have more complete maps and info on where to get some items, it is still severely lacking on some info.
Then again, its the same stuff almost every site is lacking in info so i guess its forgivable

Regarding lacking information: Yes it's true that some info is lacking but we are working on getting it all

Regarding registration: I understand why people want to use the maps without registering but I almost never send out mails to users. It only happens when something really big changes - we are getting close to 1000 members and that will result in a mail. I use twitter to inform interested people instead (@KidaTheDisciple).

We are really putting a lot of work in to these maps (and the site in general) and when people register they let us (the moderators and I) know that we are doing a good job. So I think it's a small price for the information you get. It costs you nothing and it may help me in the future if I need some sponsors. The site is free and I of course plan to keep it that way but it costs me time and money to run it.
