Nor do I hate all dubs. You must have missed the part where I said I thought several dubs were superior to the subs. As in...not just up to par, but better than. Golden Boy isn't worth watching subbed. In English, it's hilarious. The exact same thing applies to FLCL. And the translations for Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are spot on, and I prefer the English voice-actors.
If an anime has a dub that hasn't screwed up the story, I'll watch the dub, because I don't speak Japanese. But if If I compare a dub and a sub and I see the dub is leaving shit out... I'm gonna watch the sub.

Now try actually reading what I said and not blindly pretending I'm saying something I'm not.

Allow me to spell it out for you: We don't owe Square anything and I am sick to death of people thinking we have to just sit back and take anything they give us. Just because some people aren't satisfied does not mean they are brats and nothing about the entire run of XIV could make anyone look spoiled.

Yeah, it did sound that way, considering it was me you were debating with. I prefer a dub if the dub isn't messing up the story any. And some dubs (Golden Boy and FLCL, off the top of my head) are actually a lot BETTER than the subs, imo.

And I actually think MOST anime (regardless of subs or dub) is complete garbage. So...it's kinda insulting to be mistaken for a weeaboo.

I wasn't debating with you specifically, but more debating the general arguments people make. Yours happen to fit those common arguments, so I responded with the same thing I would say to those same arguments.

It doesn't mean I think you're some crazed otaku that eats Pocky at their computer and sits and reads manga at the bookstore for hours tho xD Just wanted to drop some thought that might make you see another side to the debate. :x
