    Guildleve reborn (option for party oriented leves)

    (reposting from the old battle content forum)

    Guildleves are pretty "Content light." Easy for the player to get in get out. Most can be done in a 10 min period.

    How would you feel if they introduced guildleves that lasted the full 30 min? I imagine they would work something like this:

    Your leve targets spawn and upon defeat, another wave spawns fairly close by, and again and gain, Every 5th Spawn a mini-NM spawns. You are rewarded at the end of the 30 min based on how many "waves" you've defeated.

    These leves would be more oriented to party play, and replace the "camp and grind" type mechanics.
    Maybe offer 2-3 of these each day make them non-linkable so if you get a group of 4 members you have at least 4 hours of consumable content.

    If you lack the time to complete 2 or 3 - 30 min leves, you can still pick up the standard leves which can be done solo in 10-15 min sessions.

    I personally would love to see something like this implemented. I believe it'd foster a nice group play community and be fairly easy and inexpensive to implement on the development side.

    This sounds like a blast, but maybe limit to 1 or 2 every reset or only offer 1 at each camp/node to keep it balanced with standard guildleves.

    Ladder system to go with it (give us progression). Randomization too.

    If the leves are never completely same, they will feel a lot less pain in the ass to do.

    I think you would need to limit it to one per person per reset because in a party of 5 that would be 2.5 hours to go thorugh everyones, if there is an SP bonus that could be a LOT of SP. I am not oppsed to that, but I suspect that SE might have issues with it allowing players to level too quickly.

    i like the idea they should make it so we can do more then just 1-2 though, make it so we can do them all day instead of camp grind mobs. just make the sp equal to it in that manner. that way we have multiple ways of grinding. stop making zones worth less. like in ffxi where, everyones in bibiki one day and the next it's absolute empty, why not make it all the same so we have shit loads of choices. chosing this or just grinding would be cool idea, only diff is maybe the changing of mobs in them but same sp. it's what i say is the fail in most mmo's that make things empty, empty pq's in warhammer why? cause 1 is better? make them all exactly same sp, then every day we can be like hmmm whitch one u want to do, or shit i not do this one lets go there.

    I agree with this, I really disliked that there were only a few optimal leveling areas in XI, it coudl completly destroy an eveningn if you are a particular level and all the camps are taken. (yes I know there are always suboptimal areas, but why give an advantage to the people who get to the camp first?) with a game spanning different time zones and such, I think that balancing mobs so you have 6-8 options at least on where to level would be ok. Right now the servers are dead, but if this game ever picks up we will want at least that many.

    Good idea, Also, not all camps need to be the same, or optimal for the same party type, some places that prefer caster heavy parties, or melee heavy, or alternate tanks. Like mobs that are hard linked to a friend is always fun, it allows for tanks to play together for a change. Something to think about.
