Thanks for that! I haven't been there yet.
Hopefully they'll drop during the battle stages too but it looks like it's simply a gil sink. (which I guess is needed)

I imagine these npc bought items may be gathered during the attack phase of the hamlet defence or they are given as a reward, would seem odd the only way of getting this peacock ore is from an npc
