[Suggestion] Fashion/Vanity Slots.

I like this idea as well as the using this idea for weapons.. I'm tired of the whole clone wars at the end-game I see in other MMOs. Even WoW now has a system where you can make your high-end gear look like any other gear your class can equip.

For those saying that is what materia is for, you are wrong. The only way materia can replace this system is if U/U gear can have materia added to it.

Buttons are we assuming that the fashion slots are limited to what the player can actually wear.

I was thinking about it and it would seem a bit odd that a BLM would be able to equip WHM AF for example as a fashion/vanity item, same for a WHM wearing Darksteel Plate armour.

So yea I think there needs to be some kind of restrictions personally.

Whats everyone opinion on this ?

I'm 100% for this, I don't want the awesome aesthetics of all this gear that they've been pumping out to be obsolete come a level cap raise, they should do this A.S.A.P.
There's so much gear and so much possibility for everyone to look unique! too much for them to let go to waste.
I hope a dev responds to this thread sometime soon :]

In my opinion this is not the type of system another game and group of Devs should wait on till the last cycle of a games life. The sooner its done the sooner word can get out. And the sooner i can start hunting sets of armor from the four corners of the world!

Couldn't you just wear one of those short vests instead?

Agreed. It'd be an incentive to run all sorts of content for the gear. That way we don't have artwork that goes to waste.
