Probably that is not class specific at all... just one of the umpteen billion equipment models we don't have access to. There's a frustratingly large number of armor we can't use, every time I walk by a generic NPC wearing something much better looking than anything I can make it grinds my gears. Not to mention the amount of models that were entirely done away with when they made the transition to dated gear for materia's sake... All my awesome doublets! /strangles the itemization team.

...Anyway, the OP is referring to class gear not job gear. I.E. GLA & CON specific gear, which was supposedly in the pipes. Not sure if crafting classes were included? I can hope though.

they said they will introduce class-specific gear in the future which is basically AF gear for classes only

@Ramsey I remember back in the day before FFXIV fell from the sky into our laps. I used to think I'd have full artistic considerations to what I crafted.

I think many are waiting in the wings, next patch will see extra high level recipes, I can only hope that silk robe will be party of that, the robe above looks like silk to me >.>

I want darksteel armor... But I know it won't come until there's a cap raise. Which I suppose I'm fine with. The thing that irritates me the most is the complete removal of models that already exist in the game, like entire classes of item, almost all doublets, thighboots, culottes, etc. Where did they go? Why? /slap

I'd prefer they add CSE for crafters and gatherers than the battle classes at this point, unless it's like level 30 gear. Classes have very limited uses apart from soloing at max level.
