New Player looking for a WEST COAST U.S. LS / Guild

Ok well I am not a new player I started FFXIV when it first came out, and well we know what happened there. Anyways I live in California, and I am wanting to get back into FFXIV, and I am looking for LS who is wanting to help out and get my up to speed. To be honest this has been the only FF I have ever played, and I really want to play it, but I am looking for a guild who plays around my times and who willing to be helpful and get me up to speed.

I am not new to MMO"s just playing this one, and I know its different from the others so any help would be much appreciated.

I have also been looking for an active LS. Not to hijack your thread, maybe we can Ask one of the mods to make a linkshell looking for players and players looking for a links hell stickie?

Anyhow I was thinking of making a linkshell basically to start a leveling linkshell then evolve into and end game while keeping focus on helping newer players to the game.

If you are interested let me know, just need a few people to get it started who play regularly and will be active in the linkshell.

I've just started and I have to say I'm totally lost. I'd love to get in on a linkshell that's starting out so I can grow with it. I'm also in CA and generally get on after 6PM and on weekends.

Hello fellow Excaliburians (& Californians) ,

I have just recently created a Linkshell called "FF Legacy" but it is just me. ;>( I am looking for people to Adventure, Explore, Learn & Level with.

I have 1 Lvl 50 (Archer/Bard) but the rest are all lvl 15-35. so I can probably PT with just about anybody.

I am in the process of unlocking all the Job Quests in preparation for completing all the Job Quests and AF Dungeon runs. (& of course leveling those jobs.

I also need and want to do all of the lvl25 & up raids...from Toto-Rok & Ifrit (easy) to Darkhold & Cutters Cry. I have not done any of them (except Toto once).

I am of the Maelstrom and would like to do some Caravan Quests too.

I kinda envision this Shell as a "Noob LS" to help peeps get through the mid levels to 50. I don't expect it to become a Hard-Core Endgame Shell with scheduled events, although I expect to do those events also...just much more casual and spur of the moment.

I do ask that people refrain from 3 things though...Swearing, Power Leveling & Non-Game-Related Chat. Think of it as a "Semi-Role Playing Shell". I'm not into serious role-playing...I just prefer we talk about the game and not Politics, Religion, Movie Reviews, etc.

*Warning* If you have read any of my posts here in the forums you may notice I am still a skeptic as to whether 2.0 is going to be a success. I still have issues with this game but I still kinda feel like a Playtester (even though I am paying them) and I have been enjoying it more & more with each patch.

And I am certain it is a lot more fun with others so hit me up if you're interested in helping to start this LS with me.
