Alchemy 1-50, minimal-to-no Gil Sink and no DoL as of 04/14/2012

Once I got high enough, depending on costs, I was probably going to grind on elixirs and sell them to recover what I could. They seem to be in decent enough demand with Garuda (well, maybe not anymore) and dungeons and such. The militia poultices were ok, but getting hawksbill shells are a PITA. Luckily I found a guy that had a stack up for 1000 each. Farming the Navigator's Ears and Maiden's Mistletoe was pretty grueling. At least I got nearly 400 anima at my disposal. :P

But yeah, I'll probably put a focus on just grinding town leves while monitoring the costs of elixir mats to get to 50. Nice guide though.

How long you think it take, approximately, in the number of hours to go from 1-50? I just get so bored doing crafting for long stretches. I have several in the 10-20 range and a couple in the 20-30 range. And man, it is slow progress....
