Beckon of the Elementals- Unable to Complete Bug

I was doing the Beckon of the Elementals Main Quest and had died during the instance, because I got aggro because I'm so awesome? I don't understand how you can put mobs that can kill you in one or two hits in a solo quest instance, anyways...but that's a different matter.

So,I died and returned to Gridania. The quest map says O-App-Pesi is sitting on the Archer Guild porch, just waiting for me...but he's not. So I have no way of completing this instance, much less this quest (or the rest of the Main Questline)

It's for the character Amarua Gioela. I contacted in-game GM, they said to go here...which seems odd, but hopefully gets this fixed for anyone else.
