Level Brickwall

So Id just hit 17, and man do i feel like ive hit a brick wall, i cant find anything cheap to level off of, and the leves suck... IMO... any ideas?

Please learn to do a little research for yourself. There are several recipes here that will work for you. Also, local leves.

Do leves, man. I'll soon have gone 1-50 Cul entirely on Culinary levequests and some ifrit / moogle exp along the way. Maybe it's not as fast as buying materials, but it's free... worked well for me. Plus make sure you are actually trying to get some quality onto your synth before completing it rather than using standard all the way to 100% progress, as this will give you bonus exp for extra quality. Then, log out in an inn and gain rested exp bonus! These should all help and make it very easy, especially around that level.
