How do you make this work? I kinda just guess at it everytime and screw up.

So, in E7(S). You'll get a debuff.
The Debuff has arrows. Left, Right, Up, Down.
Those arrows are relevant to where YOUR CHARACTER is facing.
For example, if you have the << debuff and you're facing the boss north. You'll end up teleporting to the left.
Same applies if you have the front, back, and right debuffs.
If you use a skill you'll reset and face the boss (not always true north but we can always think of it that way) thus causing your arrow to be misaligned.
There's a timer on the debuff, around 4-5 seconds left you'll want to stop DPSing or Healing, unless doing so won't affect your teleportation location. Then you teleport, live and move on with your life
If you're Legacy it helps to rotate your camera to manipulate it. And there you have it. E7(S) teleports made EZPZ by yours truly, Niu Wang.![]()
I remember this for Mustadio. On a controller, it's really wonky and takes some getting used to. Would be nice for smoother fine tuning on where the things (being the circle in Mustadio's fight and the teleports) are relative to you. For smoother handling.
It is very sensitive on controller, have to try and adjust to it unfortunately, best way to see which way you are going is via the debuff, the arrow it has is the way you are going to go so center.
I hope I can explain this coherently:
The way I've come to do it is facing my camera in a position where all I need to do is move my character Up slightly and it will snap to the correct position.
For example, if I have an Up debuff and I need to teleport East, I'll point my teleport to the correct position and then rotate my camera facing East so all I have to do at the 2sec mark is tap Up on my left stick.
You won't always get an easy debuff+destination combo like that obviously, but with a little practice/taking it slow you'll get the hang of it
Positioning the camera is usually how I deal with the mechanic. Or if it's the add phase in Savage, I just stand either in front/back/flanks of the add depending on where my debuff is taking me. That way can keep DPSing.
