I started playing a little over a month ago after my friends convinced me to try ffxiv. Recently we decided to play with another friend on a different world, so we all agreed to transfer. Needless to say they all moved and when I tried of course I am nowhere near the 90 required days to move. The website did not explicitly say 90 since creation until you really dive into the requirements. So now I am stuck as a new player by myself for the next 2 months, with all my friends unable to move back now and there is nothing support can do for me so I had to just cancel my account and go back to other games. I understand the reasoning behind not allowing transfers under 90 days but in some unfortunate cases it just renders the game no fun for me since I cannot play alongside my friends since the world they are on I cannot even create a character on. If the rule changes or is changed I'd definitely come back and would love to see some discretion about this rule in the future.

Had a similar problem. Generated a code so a friend could join my server only to realise that if you don't write down the code you can't retrieve it and have to wait for another one to be generated which you are only allowed to do after a certain amount of time has passed. Due to that my friend had to start on another server. The system isn't really user friendly if you ask me and can easily make or break a subscription.
