    Dump all the extra clicks.
There's no need for a confirmation click on a transport (door, Amaro, elevator) if you can easily turn around and return.
NPC dialogs: If you've seen it once, that's enough. Stop making me clear the same ones over and over again.
Retainer interaction. You should be able to end it by just walking away, no matter what level you're in.

Crafting: Let us switch crafts at any time, without having to close the interface, reopen it, and then find the thing you were just looking at in the recipe.

In most games, more there are gils sink, more rich people are rich and wider is the gap (because HL crafts prices increase even more). Players who can spend a lot of time in the game will have an even greater advantage.
Not really I'm a 1.0 player and there are no Gil sinks in the game besides Housing! I am a father of 3 adults and have 2 grandchildren and I'm married, with 4 dogs (1 Siberian Husky, 1 Rottweiler, 1 Doberman, and a German Sheppard/Chow mix) all high energy dogs. Also I might add I am a Nurse Practitioner (full time job). So I dont get alot of time at times to play hardcore like some, but the problem persists that there are no gil sinks! Alot people hate crafting, but not me! In FF11 I was a young Air Force Airman and crafted. I love crafting. It's the way the world rotates, not everyone can be rich! Do I hate Dr's who make more than me? No! They went through more vigorous schooling and studied more and racked up more debt than me! Should I make the same as them? NO! As it goes the more you put in at times you should make more! Should a person at McDonalds make as much as me? NO! But if that person invents something or make something valuable then they should! It's the way life works, same as in video games!

You will not enter in the History because you are rich in the game. And no one reasonable will praise you to be rich in a game. So... what's the problem with gils accumulation? What are the motive? Feeling some kind of exclusivity? In a game that will disappear and no one will record the richest in the game (since it doesn't mean and it's absolytly useless)?
Or people are bothered by all these useless gils? But it is a virtual money in a virtual world so what? It's not waisted since it has never been meaningfull in real life anyway.

Some people simply love earning money/gil. The reason as for why to do anything 'cuz the game will disappear one day applies to every aspect: Why do raids, savage or any hard content, and by extension, care about world/server first / day 1 races? Your e-fame will be worth naught once the server has shut down for good. Why farm glamours, do crafting/gathering? It won't polish your CV in any form (other tham maybe "muh team play skillz").

Sorry in case I misinterpreted the post.

The problem is not farming gils. I absolutly respect people who are interested in farming gils because most of time, their first reason is making collections. It just shows they like the game. I'm absolutly fine with it.

But the weird things is they are not the ones who ask gils sinks (People who do gils and collections have no use in gils sinks since they want to accumulate -and know how to spend their gils-, it would be kind of contradiction either way).

I've never heard other players asking gils sinks except the ones who want to "feel rich" among other players, to do some kind of show off nobody care about (and thought most off them are not even doing collections).

Let's talk about housing : I had two mansions and I could get two again but... the feature is broken. The current way can give some kind of show off illusion but I would prefer an instancied system without show off but were we really can be creative. Show off are not interesting, creative are. The funny thing is most richest crafters don't show off and are often far more rich than people who try to show off.

I've become an expert at speed running retainer venture reassignment (holding cursor ready at exact spot you'll need to click after UI transition).

Well, FF14 has about 2 more expansions before it sees the end of days. Everything about 14 is dated and I'm sure very difficult to work with. With that, Yoshi P once said in an interview that by 6.0 they will make a decision on what to do and if they will start work on a new MMO or not. We're probably going to see the next expansion trailer later this year for a mid-late 2021 release. They will keep pumping out updates for as long as people keep subscribing but I'm sure they know that their time is nearing (within 4-5 years probably). As much time as I have spent in this game, I'm ready to see a new FF MMO that is made from the experiences of FF11 and 14. I think that game would be a genuinely amazing MMO like something we've never experienced before.

And yes, I would "look forward to it"
