Skip Potions?

I haven't been able to find any threads or categories where something like this has been mentioned, so apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.

Has there been any statement or acknowledgment regarding the lack of skip potions for Crafters/Gatherers? I've been interested in these facets of the game, though am turned off by the amount of time required to get these classes leveled up to current content. They have potions to skip levels in Jobs, seems like it would make sense to have a comparable item for the other "Jobs" in the game, no?

I seriously doubt we'll see them. The amount of effort to level up crafters and gatherers has been greatly reduced this expansion.

Unnecessary and unwanted. Very little content is gated behind having a crafting or gathering class leveled up, and all that content in some way involves crafting or gathering things. Combat classes need to be leveled to do the storyline quests, to do all the dungeons and raids, and to even see some parts of the world. And DPZ is right, they really trivialized the effort it takes to level. You can get from 1-80 in a couple hours now with the right setup.

There are jump potions for DoM/DoW jobs because those jobs are needed to progress the MSQ and progress in the MSQ can block access to other content.

Crafting and gathering are side content, completely optional. Lack of a crafting or gathering job doesn't block access to any content but crafting and gathering. There's no need for jump potions for them.

You can level up DoH/DoL very quickly now, so quickly I had to stop leveling them on an alt because she needed materials from zones she hadn't unlocked in the MSQ yet and it was getting too expensive to buy the materials off the MB.

Grand Company Supply/Provisioning missions are good for about 1 level a day for NQ turn-in, and up to 3 levels for HQ turn-ins if the item has a bonus that day.

Beast Tribe quests.

Fieldcraft and Tradecraft leves.

Collectibles turned in at House of Splendors.

Ishgard Reconstruction.

Engineering/Survival manuals (can be purchased with GC Seals or crafter/gatherer scrip, also can be obtain from some squadron missions) give you an additional XP bonus if you're actually crafting and gathering.

If you just do it, it will go faster than you think.

Ishgard Restoration alone is INSANE for leveling crafters; with proper gearing and a good grasp of rotations, you can go up 20 levels in under 10 minutes. Who needs skip potions when Ishgard IS the skip potion?
